At ShopMyReel, we believe users should have full control over their accounts and personal information.
Users may request deletion of their ShopMyReel account at any time.
OPTION 1: DELETE ACCOUNT WITHIN THE APP
To delete your account within the ShopMyReel application:
- Open the ShopMyReel app.
- Navigate to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your deletion request.
OPTION 2: REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETION BY EMAIL
You may also request deletion by sending an email to:
Please include:
- The email address associated with your ShopMyReel account;
- The subject line: Account Deletion Request.
OPTION 3: SUBMIT THE FORM
DELETION TIMELINE
After verifying your request, we will process account deletion within 24 hours.
WHAT DATA IS DELETED
Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize the following information:
- Full name;
- Email address;
- Profile picture;
- Google account identifier;
- Saved content;
- Likes;
- Shares;
- User preferences;
- Account information associated with your profile.
WHAT DATA MAY BE RETAINED
We may retain limited technical, legal, or security-related information if required by:
- Applicable laws;
- Regulatory requirements;
- Fraud prevention obligations;
- Security investigations.
Any retained information will be kept only for the period required by law.
THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNTS
Deleting your ShopMyReel account does not delete your account with:
- Google;
- Instagram;
- Any other third-party service.
You must manage those accounts directly with the respective providers.
